some fun song stats

So tonight I ran a little SQL query to figure out what I've listened to most since whatsplaying started on February 25. There are 72 distinct bands logged so far. The results for most plays were slightly surprising. Click the title to view them...

First, to explain the metric here... This simply adds up entries in the plays table, so each song counts as a play.

And the top ten bands I've listened to since February 25th are...

1 - Radiohead, with 147 plays.

2 - Howie Day, with 131 plays.

3 - Dave Matthews Band, with 122 plays.

4 - Smashing Pumpkins, with 112 plays.

5 - Rodney Branigan, with 107 plays.

6 - Guster, with 85 plays.

7 - Barenaked Ladies, with 76 plays.

8 - Clutch, with 73 plays.

9 - The Charlatans, with 64 plays.

10 - Heather Nova, with 62 plays.

I was sort of surprised Radiohead took the top spot. I know I listen to them a lot, but I didn't think they'd be the most. I was also surprised by Rodney Branigan sneaking into the 5 spot. That's all in the last week.
