THis little news update script is getting fairly cool. It now supports multiple categories, and you can make categories only viewable after authentication. You can also set different limit amounts and stuff like that. For example, on the main ericrichardson.com page, limit is set to 5. On /cgi-eric/news/gen_all, the limit is set to 20. Eventually you'll be able to do stuff like Previous/Next. I'll post the whole system up at eScripting soon.

I'm back, and just in time. Saturday night/Sunday we got around two feet of snow. School's closed today. At least the roads are decent. Michigan has great road crews.

Eric Richardson lives in Atlanta, Georgia, where he works on payments infrastructure for Cash App.

Past lives involved streaming audio for Southern California Public Radio, running a hyperlocal news site for Downtown Los Angeles, working on custom mapping code, and writing Perl at the Jet Propulsion Labratory.
