I have to say that after seeing this article about autowraps, I actually thought about signing up.
I was sitting around here today, waiting for a tape to record, just wandering around the web. On a whim, I decided to see who else in the world had a *richardson.com domain. There are a lot of 'em.
There as times when it just amazes me how far technology has come so fast, and how much my world has changed in the last few years.
It's been a while since I posted anything about movies or music, so I figure I'll lump 'em together into one steaming mass...
My right eyelid has been twitching for like the last 24 hours. It's getting really annoying. I don't even think it's from the computer... It didn't start until after baseball yesterday.
If you're going for the awesome look w/ limited functionality, check out http://www.wideshot.com/. The main page, with the animated overlay, rocks. That's amazingly cool. It gives the whole thing an animated effect, without making the size large.
There's a cool article over at slashdot about a site providing a way for kids to anonymously report classmates who seem to be "suspicious". Things like this are scary. I'd hate to think how many times I would fall under the label of "suspicious" in any place where everyone didn't already know me.
I hate getting stuck on things that seem like they should be simple, but then decide that, no, they have to be big. Right now I'm really stuck on one such thing for eThreads.
Sorry for the silence... I've been in South Carolina for the past week on Spring Break. Going down there definitely re-iterates for me how much I hate Michigan weather. Say all you want about the summers, but everything else just sucks.
