It's been a while since I posted anything about movies or music, so I figure I'll lump 'em together into one steaming mass...

Movies I've seen lately (in no particular order):

Sleepy Hollow:

I liked it. The look and feel was awesome, and the plot wasn't half bad either. Movies with lots of mechanical gadgets always score high in my book.

Galaxy Quest:

Not half bad. There were some really funny parts.

The Beach:

It was decent. I thought it was fairly well acted, and the whole point about the dangers of trying to maintain happiness at all costs was really good.

The Thirteenth Floor:

I've spent many nights lying in bed thinking about the consequences of true virtual reality (really, i have...), so this movie was really interesting to me.

I know I've seen more, but I just can't think of them right now.

New CD's I've bought:

PJ Harvey, 4 Track Demos

I really like PJ Harvey stuff. The 4 track demos are really raw, and give completely different takes on songs that have made her regular CDs. A lot more of the garage recording feel (duh).

Massive Attack, The Singles Collection

No one got me this for Christmas, so I bought it for myself. There are some really good dubs and mixes on here...
