Saturday I finally got out and made my first trip to Sydney Harbor (err... Harbour over here, i guess). It was great. Lots of fun stuff to do down there.
Here you can see the three of us (Trisha is on the left, Kim on the right) who went. Actually, Trisha and I went by ourselves and then by some freak chance happened to run into Kim while there. I mean, with an area that size, what are the odds of that happening?
There's a lot of cool stuff to do and see around the waterfront at Circular Quay. The Opera House is really impressive. By the time we left it was dark and they had colored lights shining onto it, making some really cool patterns.
Trisha and I walked part of the way across the Harbour Bridge. It was a really great view from up there, but the wind made it freezing cold. They have a thing where you can walk up on top of the bridge (WAY up on top) for a fee, so the plan is to go back and do that sometime. That would be amazing.
In the afternoon we met back up with Kim at a theater showing Indy films and saw "One Day in September". I wasn't really aware of any of the events that had happened in Munich, and the film preseted them in a really clear and flowing manner.
I know this probably isn't an Australia thing, but I had really good Calamari for dinner. I had never seen them the size of onion rings before. Much tastier than I've had.
Anyway... That was Saturday.
