anonymous reporting

There's a cool article over at slashdot about a site providing a way for kids to anonymously report classmates who seem to be "suspicious". Things like this are scary. I'd hate to think how many times I would fall under the label of "suspicious" in any place where everyone didn't already know me.

You would think that given the nature of what I do, this sort of thing would cease to amaze me, but you'd be wrong. I just found out today that I can access InfoTrac from anywhere via a convienent web interface. All I have to do is use my library card number... Add that to the pre-existing ability to access the card catalog online, and I never need to go research something again...
